Celebration Villa of Summit Hills is proud to celebrate the First Annual Validation Week, August 17–23.

Held with the Validation Training Institute, the week recognizes the importance of compassion and person-centered dementia care. “Meet Me Where I Am” reminds caregivers and families to listen, understand, and validate each person’s feelings.

Throughout the week, Celebration Villa of Summit Hills will host activities honoring residents’ life stories and sharing the benefits of Validation with families and community members.

Validation is part of Priority Life Care’s Along the Journey dementia care philosophy, creating opportunities for trust, comfort, and connection.
